Amaya Schilder

Amaya is passionate about improving healthcare, leveraging her analytical, critical, and creative skills. She thrives on working with people, devising targeted solutions, and making a positive impact.

After obtaining her bachelor's degree in medicine with honors, Amaya decided to contribute to improving the healthcare sector on a larger scale. She continued her studies with a master's degree in Biomedical Engineering at TU Delft, further expanding her knowledge and experience of the healthcare sector and healthcare technologies. She completed her master's degree with honors with her graduation research at Erasmus MC. In addition to her studies, she worked on improving the quality and accessibility of healthcare in low- and middle-income countries as a student assistant at TU Delft. She also completed an extracurricular program on leadership at Leiden University and was trained as a professional mediator, developing effective communication and negotiation skills.

In 2024 Amaya started working at SiRM. Here she enthusiastically combines her analytical skills, technical insight and people-oriented approach to improving healthcare.
